Deposit and Booking Bariatric Procedures:

  1. Security Deposit: In order to reserve a date for your procedure, we require a NONREFUNDABLE total amount of $500. This reservation fee will be credited towards your surgery given that the surgery is scheduled within 2 months (8 weeks). The $500 deposit for X procedure is your agreement to have an endoscopic bariatric procedure performed at the reserved date. Requests to change the initially reserved procedure date must be submitted at least 2 weeks

prior to the scheduled procedure date and must be submitted via email/written notice. Failure to submit a notice in the stipulated time will void the deposit. If you make a deposit via wire transfer or direct deposit, please scan and email a copy or clear picture of the wire transfer or the direct deposit receipt with your name on it to giovanna@bebetterbariatrics.com to ensure proper credit.

  1. Remaining Balance Deposit: The first payment of 30% of the remaining due total is required after the first consultation with the DOCTOR and NUTRITIONIST has been completed and the patient has agreed to set a date for a procedure.

At least Fifteen (15) days prior to the procedure, the client needs to pay the entire remaining balance of the procedure. 1. If the procedure is CANCELLED due to a medical condition discovered during the pre-operative period or if it is determined that the procedure cannot proceed due to safety reasons, a refund may be provided minus any costs incurred by Be Better Bariatrics, including but not limited to transportation, hotel accommodations, pre-¬op test(s), doctor fees ($350.00), processing fee ($50.00) nutritional consultation ($100.00), etc. The physician’s fee is rendered at the preoperative appointment or two weeks prior to surgery is non-refundable and non-transferable to another segment of time.
